Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Tea Connect LLC ("Tea Connect," "we," "us"), which operates Tessa. They cover your use of Tessa, including asktessa.io and the Tessa text-message service. By using Tessa you agree to them. If you're using Tessa for a business, you're agreeing on behalf of that business.

Beta service

Tessa is in an early design-partner beta. Features will change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Any specific commitments for your group (pricing, support, term) are in your written agreement with us, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Not for emergencies

Tessa is not an emergency service. For fire, gas leaks, flooding that threatens safety, injuries, or any other emergency, call 911 and follow your own safety procedures first.

What Tessa does and doesn't do

Tessa helps log issues, contact vendors, and keep your team updated. Vendors are independent businesses chosen by you. We don't perform repairs, and we're not responsible for a vendor's work, pricing, availability, or response time. AI can make mistakes, so review important details.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your account credentials secure and your location, staff, and vendor information accurate.
• Make sure the staff and vendors you add have agreed to receive texts from Tessa about maintenance issues.
• Don't use Tessa for anything unlawful, abusive, or unrelated to facility maintenance.

Text messaging

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle message data.

Your data

You own the data you put into Tessa. You give us permission to use it to run and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

Tessa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, spoiled product, or equipment damage, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Tessa in the three months before the claim.

Ending service

You can stop using Tessa at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put the service or others at risk.
