Tessa is an AI maintenance manager for restaurant groups, operated by Tea Connect LLC ("Tea Connect," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@asktessa.io.
What we collect
- From our website. When you fill out a form on asktessa.io we collect what you enter, such as your name, work email, phone number, company, and number of locations.
- From operators who use Tessa. Account details for owners and managers, plus the locations, equipment, and vendor contacts you set up.
- From text messages. When staff or vendors text a Tessa number we receive their phone number, the message content, and any photos they send.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.
How we use it
- To log and route maintenance issues, contact the right vendor, and send status updates by text.
- To respond when you ask about Tessa or book a call.
- To run, secure, and improve the service.
Message content is processed by AI models to understand the issue and decide next steps. Our AI, messaging, and hosting providers process data on our behalf only to deliver the service.
Text messaging
Tessa sends texts related to maintenance tickets you or your team started, such as follow-up questions, vendor dispatch, and status updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the service: with the vendors dispatched to a ticket (the details of that job), with the operator account a location belongs to, with service providers working on our behalf, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We keep ticket and account records while an operator uses Tessa and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your data.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@asktessa.io. Operators can remove staff and vendor contacts at any time. Tessa is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, let operators know.
